The programme aimed to strengthen women\u2019s and girls\u2019 capacities to cope with psychological stress and crises, while equipping them with basic skills to provide safe and appropriate support to themselves and those around them, in a manner that upholds human dignity and respects privacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme brought together 30 women and girls from vulnerable groups in Beni Suef Governorate, including daily wage workers, women with limited literacy, and participants with limited educational opportunities. This reflects the Foundation\u2019s approach to designing capacity-building programmes that respond to the specific circumstances and needs of target groups within local communities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first phase was centred on Psychological First Aid (PFA), introducing participants to safe and appropriate ways of responding to stressful situations and crises, as well as helping them understand common psychological reactions to difficult experiences. The training also focused on developing skills in active listening, supportive communication, and providing initial psychosocial support without stigma, discrimination, or judgment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants were also trained to understand the limits of non-specialised psychosocial support, identify situations requiring professional intervention, and recognise the importance of seeking assistance and making safe referrals to the relevant specialised services, while ensuring that the privacy, dignity, and rights of individuals are
