Community awareness and capacity building are the cornerstones of any genuine and sustainable development process. Effective change cannot occur without a society that is aware of its rights and responsibilities and capable of actively participating in improving its social and economic conditions. Given the increasing challenges facing societies, particularly concerning the rights of women and children, the need for programs that target human beings as the focus and goal of development becomes paramount.

This concept paper stems from the vision of the Malath Foundation for Women’s Support, which believes that investing in awareness and capacity building is the most successful way to confront violence, reduce discrimination, and promote the values of justice and community participation, thus contributing to achieving long-term sustainable development.
