Malaz Foundation for Women’s Support concluded the implementation of the second phase of its Protection and Direct Support Program in Beni Suef Governorate through a specialized training titled “Personal Protection and Safe Response to Risks,” with the participation of 50 women and girls from groups most exposed to risks. The training was part of the Foundation’s efforts to strengthen women’s capacity to prevent and safely respond to situations that may involve violence or exploitation.

The training aimed to move participants from theoretical knowledge to acquiring practical skills that could be applied in their daily lives. This included identifying risk indicators, assessing different situations, developing personal safety plans, responding to emergencies, and learning how to seek assistance and access appropriate sources of support.

The program beneficiaries included women and girls from diverse social and economic backgrounds, including illiterate and semi-literate women, agricultural workers, and daily wage workers. This reflects Malaz Foundation for Women’s Support’s commitment to designing interventions that respond to the needs of groups with limited access to information and services, while taking into account the nature of the local communities in which it operates.
