Water represents the backbone of life and development in any society and is considered one of the most important pillars of Egypt’s national security. However, Egypt’s water resources have faced serious challenges in recent years due to climate change, rapid population growth, unregulated agricultural expansion, as well as external factors such as water projects on the Nile River that have affected Egypt’s historical water share.
