Violence and neglect against children constitute one of the most serious human rights violations, threatening the stability of families and society. International reports indicate that one in four children worldwide experiences some form of violence, whether physical, psychological, or online. In Egypt, the phenomenon of violence against children is intertwined with economic, social, and cultural factors, making addressing it a shared responsibility between the state and civil society.
