As its first field intervention following the release of its Quarterly Report on Monitoring and Analyzing Violence Against Women in Egypt, which documented 128 cases of violence against women during the second quarter of 2026, Malaz Foundation for Women's Support conducted a training entitled "Fundamentals of Protection from Violence" for a number of vulnerable individuals in Beni Suef Governorate, as part of the Protection and Direct Support Program.

The training was designed in response to the report's findings, which highlighted that violence against women is no longer a series of isolated incidents, but rather a recurring pattern that calls for strengthened prevention efforts, greater public awareness, and enhanced capacities of the groups most vulnerable to violence. It reflects the Foundation's commitment to moving beyond documenting violations toward addressing their root causes through evidence-based, community-level interventions.
