Malaz Foundation for Women’s Support has concluded the second and final “Take Your Step” training under the “From Protection to Change” program. Held over two days, the training brought together 30 women working on a daily-wage basis in the agricultural and industrial sectors, as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen women’s capacity to practically address the problems and violations they may encounter in the workplace.
The training marked a transition from recognizing rights and risks to taking practical steps to address them. Participants were trained to assess the situations they encounter, identify the nature of the problem, and determine the steps that can be taken—starting with documenting the incident, moving through identifying the appropriate intervention pathway, and ultimately identifying the relevant entities they can approach for support or to file complaints.
