Anas Saber, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Malaz Foundation for Women’s Support, affirmed that International Youth Day represents an important occasion to renew the affirmation that young people are no longer merely an age group in need of support, but have become a key partner in building the State and shaping its future. He noted that genuine investment begins with investing in people, with young people at the forefront of this effort.
In a press statement issued today, Saber said that the Egyptian State has given unprecedented attention to youth-related issues over the past years, through policies aimed at political, economic, and social empowerment, providing young people with opportunities to participate in positions of responsibility, supporting innovative entrepreneurs, and launching national initiatives and programmes aimed at building their capacities and preparing them to lead the future. He added that this has been reflected in the presence of young people across various State institutions and fields of public life.
