Anas Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Malaz Foundation for Women’s Support, affirmed that the Chinese President’s visit to Egypt reflects the importance of Egyptian-Chinese relations and the advanced level they have reached, noting that the development of these relations comes at an important time as Egypt seeks to broaden its circles of international cooperation and strengthen its ability to benefit from diverse experiences and partnerships in support of its development objectives.

Saber said that a state’s strength in today’s world is not determined solely by the scale of its relations with any single partner, but rather by its ability to build a broad and balanced network of partnerships that provides greater room for maneuver and enables it to benefit from expertise, technology, and investment in ways that serve its national interests and priorities.

He explained that the partnership with China is particularly important given the diversity of areas of cooperation between the two countries. These areas are no longer limited to trade and investment, but have expanded to include industry, infrastructure, energy, technology, and training, which could provide an important foundation for further cooperation in the coming years.
