Malaz Foundation for Women's Support conducted a training session titled "A Step Toward Independence" in Beni Suef Governorate as part of its "Empowerment and Building Independence" program. Through this initiative, the Foundation aims to equip girls with the knowledge and skills needed to build more stable lives and strengthen their ability to make informed decisions.
The training reflects the Foundation’s commitment to promoting the principles affirmed by international conventions ratified by Egypt, particularly the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), which calls for the empowerment of women and girls and their full participation in society. It also aligns with Egypt Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially Goal 5, which focuses on achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls.
