Malaz Foundation for Women's Support has released its Quarterly Report on Monitoring and Analyzing Violence Against Women in Egypt, covering the second quarter of 2026. The report provides an in-depth analytical assessment of the patterns and trends of gender-based violence, drawing on documented data collected throughout the monitoring period.

In its report, released yesterday, Sunday, 5 July, the Foundation emphasizes that violence against women can no longer be viewed as isolated incidents or exceptional occurrences. Rather, it has become a recurring structural pattern that continually reproduces itself within social and institutional systems that enable its persistence and undermine the effectiveness of early intervention efforts to prevent its escalating trajectories.
